For more than 30 years, Fluidra Benelux has been supporting pool builders, pond specialists, landscapers, installers, retailers and e-commerce businesses with products and expertise for swimming pools, ponds, swimming ponds and irrigation systems.
With more than 20,000 products, over 50 leading brands and a distribution centre covering approximately 14,000 m², we have grown into a trusted partner for customers throughout the Benelux and far beyond.
Over the years, one thing has remained unchanged: understanding our customers’ needs and supporting them with the right products, expertise and service.
Our origins: from a family business to an established name
Our story began in 1993 with the founding of SIBO, a name derived from the surnames of its founders. What started as a family business in the Dutch province of North Brabant, specialising in PVC solutions and irrigation, grew into a recognised name within the water industry.
By listening closely to our customers, we gradually expanded our product range and introduced new product groups. Over time, this resulted in an increasingly complete offering for ponds, swimming ponds, swimming pools and irrigation systems.
Despite this growth, the short communication lines, personal approach and commitment that have characterised our company from the very beginning have remained unchanged. That combination of entrepreneurship, practicality and customer focus continues to be an important part of our DNA.
Innovation driven by practice
Many innovations start with a specific demand from the market. That has been our approach since day one.
The introduction of the AquaForte UltraBead bead filter laid the foundation for further growth in the pond market. In 2003, this was followed by the development of the AquaForte UltraSieve, an innovation born from a practical need that became a well-known solution within the industry.
That way of working has remained the same over the years. By turning practical experience into new solutions, products such as the AquaForte Blue Eco pond pump, the AquaForte Plug & Play Filter Cabin and the AquaForte Complete Plug & Swim Filter Pallets were developed. These products were designed to help professionals work more efficiently and simplify project implementation.
AquaForte has grown into a trusted brand within the pond industry. A brand built on practical experience and used today in pond and swimming pond projects both nationally and internationally.
From SIBO to Fluidra Benelux
In 2016, SIBO became part of Fluidra Group, a global leader in swimming pool and wellness solutions.
For our customers, this brought a broader product range, additional expertise and access to internationally recognised brands within the swimming pool industry, including Zodiac, AstralPool and Cepex. Alongside our strong position in ponds, swimming ponds, irrigation and PVC fittings and connection solutions, new opportunities emerged in swimming pools, water treatment, automation and heating.
In 2025, the collaboration between the Netherlands and Belgium was officially brought together under one name: Fluidra Benelux. A logical step that reflects the way we have supported customers throughout the Benelux for many years.
Although our name changed, the foundation remained the same: an organisation that stays close to its customers and understands the realities of daily practice.
Reliable in practice
For professionals, product quality is important, but so is the certainty that products are available when needed. That is why we combine a complete range for swimming pools, ponds, swimming ponds and irrigation with more than 20,000 products, over 50 leading brands and an efficiently organised distribution centre of approximately 14,000 m².
Orders placed before noon are generally dispatched the same day, helping projects stay on schedule without unnecessary delays.
Our reliability is reflected not only in our logistics, but also in our people. Since 1993, we have supported professionals with technical advice from our product specialists and practical expertise. This allows us to combine fast delivery with the knowledge needed to complete projects successfully.
Sharing knowledge and looking ahead together
Over the years, we have built not only a broad product range, but also extensive knowledge of the market and its applications. That is why we support our customers not only with products, but also with advice, demonstrations and training.
At the Fluidra Benelux Pro Centers in Veghel and Gosselies, visitors can discover innovations, see products in action, attend training courses through the Fluidra Pro Academy and exchange knowledge directly with technical and commercial specialists.
A great deal has changed since our founding in 1993. The product range expanded, new markets were added and the organisation evolved from SIBO to SIBO Fluidra and ultimately to Fluidra Benelux.
